Is Information Sharing getting deprecated as part of 24B Release

In the recent release notes for 23B, it was mentioned that 'Share Personal Info' would get deprecated as part of Release 24B.
Over here Information Sharing is used extensively. It is used as part of Transfer process where the current People Leader uses the Information Sharing to share the information with the new People leader, who can then initiate the Transfer.
Have attached screenshots of our current Process.
What we would like to confirmand check is if this 'Information Sharing' is the same as 'Share Personal Info' that is getting deprecated. If so what is the alternative process for People Leaders to initiate Transfers.
