EBS - Connection Pooling Documentation

Hi,

One of our customer is using R12.2.6 and planning to migrated EBS App & Database to Engineered systems. Their EBS application is heavily customized and have about 20k concurrent user requirements.

In this context,

  1. Customer wants to understand how Connection pooling is configured or managed in EBS?
  2. Also how is Sizing performed on EBS Implementation i.e for ‘n’ no. of concurrent users with certain degree of customizations, how do we arrive at required Memory\CPU in order to serve the ‘n’ users concurrently?

Please share if there are any reference architecture, diagrams or documentation that would help to explain these concepts?
