We're having trouble reconciling deposits

We interface misc. cash receipts from a 3rd party cashiering system into Oracle receivables. When create accounting runs the resulting journals in the GL are summarized in a way in which we cannot match them to our bank deposits. Does anyone know how misc. cash receipts are summarized in create accounting when it is creating the GL journals?
