Is there a way to return material issued to the work order at multiple operations in a single go

Before a work is cancelled the customer wants to be able to reverse all material issues done to the work order.

Because high valued components are issued to the work order Our Customer needs to reverse operations on a Work Order from say 7th step to 2nd step and at the same time reverse all the material issues on the work Order. This is so that they can recover all components issued before the work order is cancelled .
