Is there a way to exit out of PR/PO form without entering mandatory DFF information

Summary:

We have mandatory DFFs on PR/PO forms. Even if the user wants to exit/cancel the transaction they are doing or want to proceed to open a different transaction, they are unable do so. is there an workaround we can apply?

Is there a way to have the mandatory DFF validation run when a button is pressed (i.e. Save, Submit, etc..).
