We are attempting to cancel contracts in RMCS, ending revenue recognition on a specific date and retaining the revenue recognition that has already occurred. To do this, we create Sales Orders in Order Management, which sends the information directly to Revenue Management to generate the revenue recognition schedule. When we make the cancellation line in Order Management (via a Return) and send it to RMCS, the system updates the quantity (Duration) to reflect the cancellation of the remainder of the contract.
