Change Full Name format in Performance Document to Preferred Name or Display Name

Is there another way to change the Full Name format in printable Performance Documents? I attempted to configure the data model for the predefined report, but it wasn't allowed. Changing the Full Name format in 'Manage Person Name Formats' impacts many reports. If there is no alternative method for altering the Full Name format in Performance Documents, could you provide a list of all predefined reports that will be affected when I configure the Full Name format in 'Manage Person Name Formats'?
