Changed cells in a SmartView ad-hoc are not being flagged as dirty

Summary:

A user has reported that when he changes values in cells in an ad hoc SmartView file the cells are not being marked as dirty (changed).

Content (required):

He states that he has refreshed the workbook and ensured he is connected correctly but that the file, which used to flag dirty cells, no longer does so. He uses this to manage the data he is loading and has reported it as a significant defect that is blocking his work and impacting delivery. We can see that this happens if the connection to FCCS needs to be re-established (for example when moving between tabs in a workbook) but have not been able to re-create his issue. Has anyone else come across this and/or has any tips?
