Can you provide a way to drive accounting on AR invoice line based off an "Invoices Lines" DFF, global attribute?

Only option I have found in SLA for AR invoice line is using an interface attribute which is not going to work because this cannot be updated via API and we need to assign the value to this attribute through API.
