Management hierarchy setup does not work in absence approval process
Dear Oracle community,
We created an approval rule in the transaction console and set the management hierarchy the following way (see screenshot 1), as we want the line manager and the higher level manager to receive a notification once the absence is requested. We did it the same way as in different approval processes, for instance the resignation, starting with: starts with employee, number of levels 2, top approver manager (see screenshot 2). However, unfortunately, once the rule has run, neither the line manager nor the higher level manager get notified.
Can anyone help us out?
Best regards,
Jerome
