Assignment statuses setup update
Summary:
We created Assignment statuses and there was a mistake against HR status. There were no employees associated to that assignment statuses. Oracle doesn't allow deletion or update even if there is no employee association.
Only way forward is to end-date and create a new one (with new code).
New code creation means update to the code in all conversion data, integration & reports. Manual mistake shall not create huge impacts when there is no HDL load for the same.
Before we raise it as an Idea, Please let me know if there is a workaround for this.
I hope Oracle provide this flexibility of deleting/updating assignment statuses till the time they are not assigned to employees.
