Summary:

We are configuring the Multiple Assignment Processing for the UK and have a query regarding the setup.

Content (required):

The Oracle documentation states: (https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/human-resources/23d/fabca/enable-multiple-assignment-processing.html#u30236378)

"If customers have existing absence set up the transition date will be used to make a date effective update to the absence plan and type as follows:

Remove the conversion formula and entitlement definition formula from the absence plan.

Remove the linkage formula from the absence type."

Based on this, do we need to make date-effective updates to both the absence plan and type for all absence types (SMP/SAP/SPP/SSP)? Is this a mandatory step? Or, is it sufficient to only update the absence plan date-effectively? Can we interpret the mention of updating the absence type as just a general recommendation?

Howdy, Stranger!
