Is it possible to remove the default date in the field 'When does the termination take effect?'

edited Oct 12, 2023 8:59AM in Human Capital Management 4 comments

Summary:

When a user is completing the Termination action the field 'When does the termination take effect?' is automatically defaulted to [CURRENT_DATE], however, we would like to remove this to force the user to select a date. Is this possible?

Content (required):

Navigate to Termination (MSS or My Client Groups) - When and Why section - the 'When does the termination take effect?' field is mandatory BUT automatically defaults to the system current date. This can sometimes lead to the user to skip past this field and continue on with the termination without validation.
