Pick Earliest Expiring Lot

Summary:

Looking into the 'Material Sort Criteria' within 'Create Picking Rule', there is no option to select lots that expire first.

We are looking for FIFO Picking which can be achieved with Lot FIFO. But for items that are Shelf Life controlled, we do not want to use FIFO instead would like to use Earlier Expiry to be first picked.

For example, I have two lot controlled items ITEMA & ITEMB. ITEMA is not shelf life controlled but ITEMB is. The receipts into the Organisation for these items are completed as below (and their expiry date also is given).

Assuming there are three SO lines for both items with a line quantity of 10 each on different orders, we expect the pick sorting to be done as LOTA3, LOTA1 & LOTA2 for ITEMA and LOTB2, LOTB3 & LOTB1 for ITEMB.
