Partial reconciliation in of bank statements in Cash Management

Summary:

Partial reconciliation in of bank statements in Cash Management

Content (required):

HI Team,

We see that partial reconciliation in Fusion is not possible without setting the tolerance limit. We could see that upon setting tolerance and try to perform partial reconciliation, the different amount is been created as external transaction and it gets accounted as well.

  1. Could you please let us know if this external transaction which is created as a part of reconciliation difference gets captured in any report. If yes, kindly let me know in which report we can find this entry?
  2. I see that the cash account to which it accounts is the cash GL code combination provided at the bank account level. Looks like system derives this entry automatically. Can we have a separate GL account combination for these external transaction that is created as a part of reconciliation difference? if yes, where that need to be setup and is it possible to provide the offset account as well? because these external transactions would just be sitting on cash entry and how does it gets knocked off?

Howdy, Stranger!
