After running the demand plan we are analysing the effect of casual factors..but the the Shipment Forecast total and Shipment forecast Decomposed are coming under the 'Unassigned Forecast Method' also the Decomposition Group is mentioned as "Unassigned' We are using seeded Forecast Profile 'Forecast Shipments'.

What is the meaning of unassigned Forecast Method and decomposition group?

Also should there be different between the total Shipment forecast and Decomposed Forecast values?
