Is it allowed to duplicate the person suggestion group into the common product family?

Summary:

Global Search behaves differently when you’re on the fscm stripe versus in the hcm stripe. This is understandable as the HCM application is defined against the people search config, instead of the Common application. Our question is - will there be an issue if we duplicate the person suggestion group into the common “product family” such that upon login and while still at the fscm stripe, we can still search for person?
