Unable to remove participants from Approval flow in a submitted change order in PIM

Dear reader

We are unable to remove a participant who is no longer working for the company from the approval flow for a pending change order in PIM. In manage Change Order Type I can see that an analyst can do this, What role should i apply to the user so he is able to update the approval flow?
