Project Budget is Error | Budget Version Not Updating

Even after submitting a project budget for approval and approver approving it, the status of the budget version is not changing. It is showing following exception:

Navigation: Grants Management>Manage Awards>Projects>Manage Project Budget.

Can someone please explain me what could be the issue or where should I look for resolution?
