Has anyone successfully implemented secure list views? Do you recommend them?

Summary:

I’m eager to learn of other users' experience in implementing Secure List Views, particularly from anyone who has implemented them to any significant scale.

There is very little by way of guidance in the Oracle documentation and while there has been some discussion in this community it’s not clear whether this is something that many organisations have found useful (particularly in not having to rely on object level security for BIP), or whether this is just an interesting concept, with little practical application.

Would you recommend implementing SLV’s or are they more of a gadget? I'm unsure whether to recommend trying them for an organisation I am currently working with or not.

Howdy, Stranger!
