Questions about the capabilities of the News and Announcements Feature

Hello,

My organization is looking at utilizing the News and Announcements feature to announce system updates/information to our employees, as a replacement to sending out mass emails.

I have a few questions about the capabilities of this feature:

  1. Once the defined 'End Date' has passed, where are the announcements stored? i.e. can you view historical announcements?
  2. Is there the ability to attach documents to the announcement or only hyperlink?
  3. Are we able to modify where the News and Announcements feature appears on the home page? For example, currently it is displaying at the bottom of the page which could easily be missed by the user.
