how to update Contract Start Date to be different from Employee Hire Date

I have business requirement to make absence plan term Type : Anniversary year to be accrual based on Contract Date of Employee , but contract date is same date as Hiring Date , and as business requirement I want to Edit contract Date to be after hire Date For example:

Hire Date 01/01/2023

So contract Date will be 01/03/2023

so accrual will be calculated on Contract Date which is 01/03/2023,

is there any solution or workaround to achieve this requirements.
