Restrict Generate Lot Number button in Manage Work Orders screen with roles and privileges

We have a requirement wherein the client doesn't want to have access to Generate Lot Numbers under Manage Work Orders. The privilege "Manage Work Order Lot Numbers" doesn't exist in any of our custom roles. Also, the privilege "Manage Work Order Headers" does give access to Generate Lot Numbers, but when we remove this privilege from the custom role, it takes away the access for both create work orders and generate lot numbers. Please let us know if there is any role or privilege that can revoke the access for only Generate Lot Number functionality.
