Ability to Manually Change the Contract Status to Active

In CX Sales, the requirement is to be able to manually change the status of a Contract to Active. The use case here specifically is contracts signed outside of DocuSign. Signatures are obtained, but the contract still shows pending. Anyone have any idea how to accomplish this or should this go straight to an Idea Lab?
