Is there a way to carry unused budget funds from one period to another automatically?
We are implementing GL with budgetary controls and there is a requirement to carry unused balances from one period to another. The initial budget is entered for the entire fiscal year, and for each month there is an specific amount of the budget and what hasn’t been used during an specific month should be carried forward to the next month when they close the period.
For Example CB: 2022
JAN - 10k
Feb - 10k
Mar - 10k
Budget of January hasn't been used so it would automatically transfer from JAN to FEB and the result would be:
