How to restrict projects at the LE (Legal Entity) level while creating Miscellaneous Transactions

edited Oct 29, 2023 12:23PM in Inventory Management 2 comments

Summary:

My inquiry pertains to whether it's achievable to impose restrictions on projects at the LE (Legal Entity) level. It's important to note that the client has multiple LEs defined within a single BU (Business Unit).

As an example, you can choose "Miscellaneous transactions" from the Inventory areas. Presently, users have the ability to view and select projects across other LE which is not related to Inventory Org selected when carrying out miscellaneous transactions. This can lead to the incorrect accounting and charging cost to incorrect project.

we wanted to check if there is any workaround by which we can restrict project number to legal entity for which transactions are being created.

Howdy, Stranger!
