Add Certificates against LOTS

Is there a functionality that we can attach a certificate to a LOT number. Like the business would have received a PO and would have also done a PUTAWAY and created a LOT number and is in Shelf also. But now after some days the business is receiving a certificate for that LOT number. How do we add a certificate to a LOT. The way that i think is to create a Inspection Plan and do a Adhoc Inventory inspection , but again here we might have to choose the qty, but the business says that they do not want
