Mass remove learners via person number list / csv file

Summary:

We added 5000+ learners to a specialisation using the Learning Assignment and Assignment Report Criteria.

We would now like to remove a few hundred who are no longer required to complete the course.

Is it possible to do this using a mass action or person number list/csv rather than one by one or ctrl select multiple learners? It will take a very long time.
