CLEARBLOCK NONINPUT vs CLEARBLOCK UPPER

edited Nov 2, 2023 1:19AM in Planning 4 comments

Have a requirment to clear upper level blocks for one account.

As per oracle document

CLEARBLOCK UPPER - Remove consolidated level blocks.

CLEARBLOCK NONINPUT - Remove blocks containing derived values. Applies to blocks that are completely created by a calculation operation, not to blocks into which any values were loaded.

Is derived value not equal to consolidated level blocks ? I am confused.

Which one should be used to clear aggrgated data ?

Thanks
