Pretax deductions not being deducted before involuntary deductions
Summary:
We have an issue wherein, the garnishment amount (Bankruptcy, Child Support, etc) are being deducted the full amount even if the net pay is insufficient.
The priority of the elements are correct, pretax elements' priority is 4750 while garnishment elements is 7500. But on the actual payroll, it seems the garnishment are getting processed first. In the garnishment results, the income is still the full amount without any pretax or tax deductions that is why they are taking the full garnishment amount. It should take the pretax deductions first before proceeding on the Garnishment. Any ideas on this?
Example:
Earnings: $140
Pretax: $60
