Merge Person Number of Terminated and rehire record

Summary:

A Person is terminated previously say on 2017 in the system and a terminated record exist in the system with person number say 12345.

Same person got rehired via ORC with New person number 54321 (if ORC missed to find the duplicate check while adding candidate)

So in Core HR there will be 2 record of same person number with 2 person number.

Please let us know is there any ways we can merge these person record to single person number of old person number 12345 (Old Person record).
