Reguest for Reverse DNS Record definition for IPs controlled by Oracle

edited Mar 3, 2024 10:15AM in OCI - General 2 comments

Summary:

I would like reverse DNS records to be defined for one of my instances.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

I am using a Free Tier account for my personal usage. I have an instance that is using two Reserved IPs: one IPv4 and one IPv6. I would like reverse DNS records to be defined for these addresses.

Please note: I am not using my own IP addresses. I am using the IP addresses provided by Oracle. In this respect, Oracle Cloud is the "IP provider."

Other cloud providers (like AWS, GCP, ArubaCloud, SkySilk, etc.) provide a management user interface where I can enter the reverse name of the IP they provide for my instances. I haven't found a similar thing in OCI.

Howdy, Stranger!
