manage shipment lines is backorder but SOM status is not updating

I have created a Sales order then I process it in Manage Shipment lines then the Status is backordered.

When I checked the Sales Order the Item line status is not updating. How can I update the Status in SO? already run ESS Send Intermediate Shipment Status Update still not updating.
