Include notes adding new documents for shipments

Summary:

Is there any possibility of including a notes field (to indicate what the document is about) on the add new document screen for shipments?

We have reviewed the functionality and there is an annotation field but this field does not work well, by including a value here after this text is not visible anywhere in OTM or in the database either.

The documents are added as "Additional documents" at the shipment level and it seems that it is a field intended for document revisions ("Standard documents").

Can you confirm this for us and if there would be any alternative to including a notes field when uploading this type of documents?
