Using the Viewpoint Load Replace but the Viewpoint is not being replaced (no deletes)

Summary:

I am using the functionality of "load" through the viewpoint. I am using the replace functionality however, the viewpoint is not being replaced. It is not deleting anything that is in the viewpoint but not in the load file. The load is showing as successful and shows the number of records I expected to be loaded. However, when going back to the viewpoint, nothing got deleted in the viewpoint that was not in the load file.
