How to do incremental load into EDM?

Summary:

We get delta files from some applications which has to be imported into different dimensions in EDM. What functionality of EDM can we use to import a file that only has new node name and its parent's name followed by the properties that were there in the modify registration.

One more point is that the bound viewpoint of this dimension is used to raise requests so we can't export the full file and merge it with delta file and import it back using the import source Reset. When we tried this approach, the existing in-flight requests on the viewpoint were displaying an error "node not found in node type". Replace and merge isn't working, and the error is "parent " not found".
