Is it possible to update Initial balances loaded using HDL from UI?

W have loaded initial balances using HDL and we are in need to adjust the these initial balances through UI from Absence records. However, we found that the the record is non editable (greyed out) to make it voided.

Let us know the possible workaround to update this values. Subsequent HDL load will help to update the balances?
