Is there any provision to cancel or discard an Inspection without entering quality results?

Scenario:

My client is into continuous manufacturing and requirement is to schedule a program to create inspection automatically after every 3 hours.

Sometimes business doesn't expect any sample because of planned or unplanned shutdown but scheduled program creates inspection on scheduled time.

Would like to know if there is any provision to cancel such unwanted inspections?
