Hi,

To implement Sick and Safe leaves for states, cities and counties in the US as per the legislative requirement , need some inputs on absence to payroll integration ,what type of absence element secondary classification to choose and also and what are the element rate considerations (is it a regular salary rate to consider or any other rate factors to consider for pay calculation) , also what tax method to choose (regular/supplemental) for sick and safe paid leaves.

For absence accrual , Employees will earn at least one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked , i.e .0333 per hour . As an example this sick paid leave needs to be implemented for the States - MN and IL also for the location Austin , what will be the absence pay rate while calculating this sick pay on this state/location specific legislative requirement , how this rate can be derived.
