Annual Vacation days count from Accrual balance using start date of annual leave

Dear All
We have requirement that , when an Employee is submitting for annual leave the days should be counted from the period which is having the start date of annual leave, currently in our setup if employee is submitting for vacation starting from 30-Dec-2023 to 5 -Jan-2024 , the balance will counted as 2 Days from 2023 accrual and Remining from 2024 , instead of this our requirement is count all the days from 2023 Accrual period only , is it possible we can achive this requirement.
