Clarification regading ''Period Inventory Valuation Report''

Hi,

For our ''Cost Organization'': Period Inventory Valuation Report Shows no data in ( OCT-23) period,

if there are no transactions during Oct’23, there must inventory opening inventory as at Oct’23 carry forward from Sep’23. That should be part of Inventory valuation report at Oct’23.Can you please clarify on what is ''Period inventory Valuation Report'', It shows the available on hand quantity as on date?.
