position sync question

Hi all,

My question is about position sync

  1. I created a position with effective date 1/1/1951
  2. I updated it with a change in Department with effective date 22/11/23
  3. I ran the "Synchronize Person Assignments from Position" process

Please explain why I don't see the change in the Department for employee who is attached to the relevant Position.

He stays with the original Department.

Below is the 'Position Sync' setup from the Manage Enterprise HCM Information.
