Mass Update of Transactions

Summary:

 I have found the knowledge article (Doc ID 1660324.1) for mass updates of transactions.

I want to perform a mass update of 1 quote field for a couple of hundred quotes. (I do not want to perform a mass update of quote Lines) 

I'm doing some test in a non production site, but I can't get it to work.

Can someone tell me what the return string should be if I want to update the quote field cRMRefNumberESales_endcustomer_t (with value "ABC") of the quote with _transaction_document_number = 58255353 AND update the field cRMRefNumberESales_endcustomer_t (with value "XYZ") of the quote with _transaction_document_number = 39288730?
