How to manage rescheduling of supplies in Replenishment planning

Currently existing supplies cannot be rescheduled or cancelled by replenishment planning. System doesn't see if future dated supplies like open POs, Purchase requisitions or transfer orders are in excess of current demand to suggest cancellation or suggest rescheduling of these to meet sudden demand spikes.

Is there any way or work around which we can use for rescheduling supplies in RP.
