Server Side Extension: SSL with Axios
Recently we attempted standardize our REST calls in our SSEs to utilize only Axios which has a lot of nice features for REST application development. We were able to do this for REST calls that did not require an SSL certificate. There seems to be an issue with specifically our Axios client in the SSE, being unable to send the SSL certificate we have. When we use the node native https library however, its able to work just fine.
I’ve tried several attempts using the proxy and different HTTP agents. It is also worth noting, that using Axios locally works as expected. The SSL is able to call our company’s endpoint which requires SSL fine. Once deployed out into the SSE server however, it no longer functions and receives timeouts.
