Need confirmation from Oracle- MS Teams Tenant id and admin account

Summary:

Hello,

I'm currently working with a public sector client on Learn implementation. We are discussing integration with MS Teams for VILT functionality.

The client's security team has asked for a justification for why the Tenant ID and Admin username and secret are required by Oracle to enable MS Teams functionality. Their security team says they don't give these credentials out to anyone and say they need to get approval if this was indeed required but with an explanation as to why.

Is there a reason why the tenant ID and admin account credentials are needed? Will it suffice if a service account is used for MS Teams integration with Learn?
