Can we enable edit for contract info page?

Employment model before was 2-tier multiple assignment, and we loaded employees data. 

After that requirement changed, and we changed employment model to 2 Tier - Multiple Contract - Single Assignment and loaded employment contracts of those employees. 

But now we can't edit contract start/end date. 

 

Is there a way we can make them editable?
