How to create a pop-up windows

Summary:

I need to create a create a pop-up window sending a message to the user showing the "Timeout of 8 hours" will be reached soon. 

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Based on the document: Understanding the Timeouts in Oracle Applications Clouds, Session Lifetime Timeout has 8hours; After 8 hours, the users are required to sign in again.

What is happening is: the user does not notice that the timeout of 8 hours will reach soon, and they keep working, then the system automatically sign the user off impeding them to save the work losing all the data and work done, therefore I need to create a "pop-up window" with a message that will help the user to read the warning of the "Timeout of 8 hours" in order to them to save the work done.
