Region Salary: I don't change the salary but it records it in the history

Summary:

I have one point, my user in the change assignment process needs the Salary region to check the salary base, there is no salary change in this process and even so the HCM records a salary history with the same value, my question is: Is it possible to do this with that does not assign a new line in the salary history if the user has not changed the salary?
