@CALCMODE(BOTTOMUP) increases Translate time

in Financial Consolidation and Close 3 comments

We have used FCCS_10 and FCCS_20 rules to calculate / reclass some of the movement members for cashflow reporting and the Translate is taking around 30 minutes per period currently.

The application recommendation is to Use @CALCMODE(BOTTOMUP) for member block "FCCS_Entity Input".

However, when we are doing that it is increasing the Translate time and it takes around 2.5 to 3 hours for each period.

Are there any restrictions / consideration when using @CALCMODE(BOTTOMUP) for member block "FCCS_Entity Input"? Please suggest.
